Roughly speaking, this typical system consists of the following components and processes:

OZONE GENERATOR

 

The equipment generates ozone from oxygen by injecting it into the air that is expelled outside through the ducts for final decontamination. It has signaling, protection and control elements.

 

The function of ozone is to neutralize the chemical and microbiological contamination of the final air, which cannot be eliminated with filters. Only ozone is capable of destroying the chemical substances that produce unpleasant odors, degrading them to inert substances; it also contributes to the oxidation of harmful carbon monoxide and inactivates microorganisms that have managed to get past the filtrate.

 

OZONE TREATMENT PIPES

The conduit is responsible for guaranteeing the mixing of the air, with the ozone injected by the generator. Where the reactions of the ozone with the chemical pollutants that the air contains are also produced for their neutralization, also achieving the disinfection of the conduit itself at the same time.

 

DISCHARGE TO THE OUTSIDE

The point of discharge to the outside must include a grille that can direct the air towards the most convenient direction, and at the same time prevent rainwater or any other foreign body from entering the pipe.
